Animal Testing
According to the Animal Alliance of Canada, an estimated 9000 rats, mice, rabbits, and dogs are killed for every active ingredient approved by the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). As health and environmental concerns about pesticides increase, so too will the testing requirements - resulting in more animal deaths, but not necessarily safer products.
