The City Square Garden is a communally-run demonstration garden, located across from City Hall whose volunteers have a keen interest in food, gardening, biodiversity, and sustainable systems. Using techniques such as companion planting, vertical gardening, and square foot gardening, we partner with the City Hall Childcare Society, engaging children in garden care.

During the season, we meet together Sunday mornings - come join other like-minded people and grow good food together!
We are currently seeking gardeners (experienced or not) for our fourth season to help plan, plant, and harvest the garden.
Contact bakervicky [at] shaw.ca to see how to get involved!
Here's our garden from a bird's eye view. You can see the boxes on the West side of the big square of lawn :)
