A great fun event for everyone to enjoy. Our goal is to set the stage for you, your family and friends to come together for inspiration, learning and fun!
We want to encourage you to become involved whenever you think something is going wrong like the plan to widen Highway 1.
You get the chance to learn about sustainable living, environmental initiatives and eco friendly life choices in our Workshops.

You can also relax during cycling, juggling or kite flying or by watching the theatrical acts in the park. It meens a chance for you to meet other interested and interesting people and to show your engagement!
TRAFFIC JAM! takes place on September 10th 2006 at Woodland Park from 12 to 7 pm


Of course you are welcome to dance or just listen to the music from modern pop rock to reggae tunes.

Kutapira

Kutapira, five teens who are the vanguard of Vancouver's next generation of world music artists, play a blend of traditions that give a fresh approach to the genre. Inspired by the marimba music of Southern Africa and driven by the rhythms of the Caribbean, Kutapira's danceable, high-energy traditional songs and original compositions owe their complex arrangements to the group's director, latin percussion maestro Jack Duncan.
"Uplifting," "outstanding," "superb," "extraordinary," and are some of the kudos already earned by this rapidly emerging ensemble based at Vancouver's Britannia Community Centre.

The Livable Region Coalition (LRC) is a group of Lower Mainland citizens and sustainable transportation advocates.
